Choosing online bookkeeping software will not only make your accounting processes easier and more streamlined, it will also make your entire business operations run more efficiently and take the headache out of your daily book keeping tasks. As a small business owner, managing your own accounts can be an onerous task. Trying to balance your own incomings and outgoings is tedious and repetitive and the slightest misjudgment can result in costly errors, wasted productive time and unnecessary headaches.

Traditional book keeping methods

Many businesses use spreadsheets or simply paper and pen to manage their accounts. Cheque books, note pads and word processing documents might offer a sufficient solution in the short term if you only have a small budget to manage, but as your business evolves you will face an increasing need for more efficient accounts management. As your business grows you will find your old tried-and-tested methods of accounting become insufficient. In addition, you may find most of your clients now use cloud-based accounting software and your invoicing and billing methods are not compatible with their own accounts processes.

Bookkeeping software can help you more successfully manage your accounts, allowing you to concentrate on other business tasks, while keeping you up-to-date with how your industry peers are doing business.

But rather than forking out a large sum for a cumbersome proprietary system which needs to be installed on your computer, today you can choose from a wide selection of internet-based Software as a Service (SaaS) accounts systems which make account management affordable and simple.

By accessing your accounts in the ‘cloud’, that is by logging in via your laptop, PC or other electronic device to a web-based platform, you can manage all your accounts in one place.

Big Red Cloud is an online bookkeeping software solution that allows you to instantly update and review your accounts using an easy to navigate interface.

Simply log on and manage your accounts anytime, anywhere. Manage your invoices, purchases and VAT with the click of a button.
