Big Red Cloud And Nuapay To Enable Irish Businesses To Collect Money Via Direct Debit

Big Red Cloud and Nuapay have entered into a partnership to deliver a ground-breaking approach that enables businesses to collect money from their customers via direct debit.

What can only be classed as a game changer, as a result of the partnership, the entire interrelated set of activites (accounts, payments and banking activities) can all be excuted from within Big Red Cloud’s online accounting platform.

Dublin, Ireland, May 6th 2015 – Big Red Cloud and Nuapay have entered into a partnership to deliver a ground-breaking approach that enables businesses to collect money from their customers via direct debit. The partnership will deliver an environment where accounts, payment and banking activities are driven from within the Big Red Cloud online accounts platform.

No longer will users have to log in to separate systems to make a payment – it just happens. No longer will ledgers have to be updated when a payment is made or received – it just happens. All the constituent elements automatically sync to and update each other

For Big Red Cloud users the Nuapay integration allows them to create an invoice marking it to be collected by direct debit. When doing the regular payments routine, the seamless and secure integration to Nuapay will identify the payments to be collected, create the SEPA direct debit file and send it to Nuapay for collection. To complete the payment cycle, Nuapay will automatically flag failed payments within Big Red Cloud for immediate follow up.

These developments deliver huge benefits for Big Red Cloud users. To make sure users can enjoy these advantages as quickly as possible a phased release will be adopted starting immediately with full coverage for all users being delivered in the coming weeks.

Brian Hanrahan, CCO of Nuapay, commented “Nuapay are excited about this partnership as it allows us to deliver modern and innovative services to businesses taking away much of the drudgery experienced today. It also frees up time for already busy business owners to focus on developing and expanding their organisations.”

Marc O’Dwyer, Chief Executive Officer of Big Red Cloud said “This partnership allows us to deliver a product offering unparalleled ease of use, efficiency and security, features not available anywhere else in the market today. I’m very much in favour of adopting new services that make the lives of our customers easier and more profitable. A truly game-changing step forward.”

In 1992, Marc’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to set up his own business, Irish International Sales (IIS). Initially, this company was a reseller for Take 5 Accounts and Payroll software.
